  2. Participation in the Preserve America Summit is by invitation only.
  3. Invitations are non-transferable. Substitutions are not permitted.
  4. Pre-registration for Issue Panels is required and available on a first come, first served basis.
  5. Every effort will be made to accommodate all invited guests. However, if capacity for the event is reached before the deadline, registration may close earlier.

The New Orleans Marriott has reserved a block of rooms and provided a special event rate for all Preserve America Summit attendees. The room block and rate are valid through October 4. The special lodging rate is $145 for single/double occupancy and $175 for triple occupancy. Tax is not included.

Pre-Registration for Issue AREA SESSIONS

During online registration, each invited guest will be asked to pre-register for four of the eleven issue area sessions offered during the Summit.

All participants are invited to hear expert panelist discussion and will have the opportunity to provide comment on historic preservation concerns, priorities, best practices, and ideas.

The New Orleans Marriott is ideally located just two doors down from the U.S. Custom House where all Plenary Sessions will be held. Summit headquarters, issue panels, transportation, and continental breakfast will all be located at the New Orleans Marriott.

  1. Parking is $30.00 per day at the New Orleans Marriott.
  2. Parking in the French Quarter is not advised as most side streets are very narrow.
  3. Parking is extremely limited at the U.S. Custom House, Historic New Orleans Collection, and Old Ursuline Convent. Shuttle transportation via motor coach will be available for Summit participants.
  4. While complimentary coach transportation will be provided for all Summit delegates, note that reception facilities are also within a moderate walking distance.



Business attire is requested for all Preserve America Summit Plenary Sessions, Issue Area Sessions, and Event Receptions.



For security reasons, official government issued photo identification is required to be presented at registration. Official photo identification, conference credentials, and name badge must be available at all times for verification by security officials. Large bags are not permitted in the Plenary Sessions.
