Trainer

Ben Murane has been a scholar of servant leadership since high school and enjoys teaching others to engage the world's challenges and opportunities. TRI's mission fits perfectly with the work Ben enjoys most: as a former introvert Ben knows what it means to confront fears of public speaking, finding one's own leadership style, and getting out into the world to make a difference. It was TRI trainers and mentors who taught him how to take care of business with organization, preparation and enthusiasm for all!

Ben specializes in being versatile and has given trainings on almost every topic, from dining etiquette and public speaking to customer service and project planning. His favorite teaching saying is what he calls the Underwood Axiom: "Work while you play and play while you work; but above all, work hard, play hard."

Ben's leadership story began in high school as a local, state and national officer in Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda. Once in college, Ben became further involved in the March of Dimes, a rising star who now serves on the organization's National Youth Council. As a Naef Scholar at his university, he studies leadership and social justice in practice on his campus. He is studying Business Economics at Seattle University with the intent to earn the title "serial entrepreneur" in the future. His passions are social justice, kung fu and martial arts, world religions and stand-up comedy.
