Glenn Morris is a Leadership Fellow for TRI Leadership Resources brings nearly two decades of experience and leadership to bear on his passions of personal leadership, organizational excellence, and the power of partnering to achieve goals. He is an association management professional having served as executive director of nonprofit organizations in Utah, California, and Nevada including the City of Visalia Economic Development Corporation. An innovator in each field, Glenn has been successful in creating new programs, enhancing the impact of existing opportunities, and working with diverse groups of individuals to enhance the value of the organizations. Glenn is a strong advocate for including stakeholders in decision making and in continually adding value to the membership/customer experience.
Glenn holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and a Masters degree in Business Education/Business Information Systems, both from Utah State University. While at Utah State University, Glenn was instrumental in the creation and launch of the Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing, which recognizes manufacturing excellence in organizations in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
As a community leader, Glenn is an active member on the board of the Visalia Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Golden West High School Site Council, and is chair of the Friends of Visalia Schools Committee.
Glenn co-founded the Institute for Leaders 10 years ago. The Institute has now evolved into the premier business, career, entrepreneurship, and leadership training program for America’s next generation of business leaders. He also served as the National Director of Education for Future Business Leaders of America.
Glenn has served in numerous leadership and training positions for his church, university, and professional organizations including National Vice President of Phi Beta Lambda. He finds great joy in being a husband to Shana and father to Joshua, Jessica, Samuel, and Sydney.
