San Diego is California's second largest city. Where blue skies keep watch on 70 miles of beaches and a gentle Mediterranean climate begs for a day of everything and nothing. Bordered by the Pacific Ocean, the Anza-Borrego Desert and the Laguna Mountains, San Diego county's 4,200 square miles offer immense diversity and opportunities for adventure. In July of 2009 it also hosted DECA’s local, state/provincial and national officers as they ascended on San Diego in the great state of California for the 8th Annual Western Region Officer Training Camp!
Held at San Diego State University, WROTC was the MUST leadership program of the summer for any DECA officer who is serious about service and success! If you wanted to maximize achievement during your term of service—then you were in San Diego with the world’s top DECA officers!
